The purpose of Professional Development is to provide opportunities for improvement for Faculty and Staff that enhance student learning and student success. The intent is to improve the overall effectiveness of the institution by providing professional development opportunities that encourage innovation, stimulate continued professional growth, and enhance the learning and working environment of Chaffey College. This will be accomplished by providing ongoing opportunities to improve the knowledge, skills, and well being of all employees of the district.

Committee Members

Professional Development Committee members are appointed by both Classified and Faculty Senates and serve a term of two years. Management committee members are appointed through consultation of the vice presidents and also serve a term of two years. Committee tri-chairs are selected by the committee members and are conferred by the Senates. Tri-chair service ranges from one to two years. Read more...
