After noon on the first scheduled day of your online or hybrid course, you should log on to Moodle.  

Click on the Log In to Moodle link below.  At the Moodle log on box (shown at the right) enter your username and password using the following formats:

Username:  Your 7-digit student ID number (which is different than your SSN).
        EXAMPLE: John Smith, ID# 1234567 would have the username of 1234567, initials are not included in the Moodle username.
Password:  Your initial password is your six digit date-of-birth in the “mmddyy” format.
        EXAMPLE:  John Smith's date-of-birth is May 30, 1990. His password would be 053090.

• Once you’ve logged in, find your course in the middle section. 
• Click on the course name link to enter the course.
• Start reading and exploring the course.  Look for any first day getting to know you tasks that your instructor might require.
• Enjoy your online learning experience at Chaffey College!

The Moodle username and password are not connected to ChaffeyView in any way. Changing your password in ChaffeyView does not affect your password in Moodle and vice-versa.
