National Library of Medicine
A portal for medical and health information and research. Provides access to MedlinePlus for general medical information, and to PubMed (MEDLINE), a database with citations and abstracts from medical journals. Links are listed on the records if the article is available online (in most cases, there is a fee for access to the full text).

National Center for Health Statistics
A resource for statistics relating to health in the United States.
