How to gain access

The instructions below will lead you through connecting your device, and help you with some of the different screens that you might encounter. Please note that you may not see some of these screens if you are connecting with a PDA, cell phone, or Apple Macintosh computer.

The use of Cisco NAC Agent is no longer necessary to connect to the wireless Network. If you have the Agent installed for use at Chaffey, it can be removed.

Select your Operating System for instructions to connect to the Chaffey College Wireless Network:

Windows XP
Windows Vista
Windows 7
Mac OS

Some Internet Service Providers are limiting the ability to send e-mail using port 25 across their networks. POP or IMAP users who access e-mail from Chaffey’s servers may be unable to send and will need to configure their email client to use an alternate port to send email (use port 587 instead of 25 to send email). Information from Verizon can be found  here regarding re-configuring your Email settings.
