Curriculum
The Interior Design curriculum is planned both as professional preparation for
those entering the interior design field and as a transfer program for students
planning to transfer to a four-year college. Students receive a strong background
in color, design principles, furniture construction and design, architectural materials,
furniture layout, space planning, business principles, computer aided
design, and the historical development of furniture, architecture, art, and decorative
arts.
To obtain an Associate’s Degree, students must complete both the major
