Minimum Qualifications for Faculty and Administrators in California Community Colleges.

A District Employment Application is required for all positions. Only applications which are complete and fully address how
the applicant meets ALL qualifications will be considered for interview.

permit. Parking permits are sold in
each lot for $4 per day or $1 per hour. Metered parking is also available in Lot 12.
IMPORTANT INFORMATION ABOUT FAXING APPLICATIONS
Faxing an application should be used only in cases when postal mail or personal delivery are not possible. Faxed applications pose two problems for applicants:
1) Applications must be received before the deadline for each position, and the fax is extremely busy and may not transmit materials in time to meet an application deadline.
2) The quality of faxed applications is often very poor and difficult for application screeners to review.
Applicants are advised to take measures to ensure clear, quality application materials are received before the closing deadline for each position.
|Appointment to a Position
All employment offers are
conditional based upon the successful completion of (1) a medical
examination, which is required for all academic employees who have not
previously been employed in an academic position, (2) any tests that the
District determines necessary to evaluate abilities, (3) a freedom from
active tuberculosis report prior to the starting date, (4) an I-9 form
and supporting documents establishing proof of the individual's identity and
legal right to work in the United States, as mandated by the Immigration
Reform and Control Act of 1986, prior to the starting date (an example would
be a driver's license and social security card), (5) fingerprinting, and (6)
approval by the Governing Board for employment based on the recommendation of
the Superintendent/President. Continuation of any position is contingent upon
