English as a Second language

What is ESL?

Chaffey College offers a complete English as a Second Language program to help ESL students achieve English fluency. The program prepares students for higher education because it teaches them all areas of academic English as well as communication skills. Students may take as many or as few classes as they need in the areas that they choose.

Who can attend classes?

All Chaffey College students whose first language is not English.
