On Monday, March 14, Chaffey College ASCC sponsored seven students (selected through an application process) to take place in the March in March, joining fellow community college students (and UC/USC) throughout the state in order to advocate for the continuance of educational funding, providing an opportunity to ask questions and express their concerns regarding education and state policies with elected legislators. Participating Chaffey College students, who represented various programs throughout the campus (EOPS/CARE, AMAN,AWOMAN, Puente, ASCC, Civics Club, Veterans, Financial Aid, etc) vigorously shared their empowering stories and experiences with six state-elected senators/assembly representatives (or designated staffers).
