ATTENTION STUDENTS!

EOPS will be accepting applications for the Fall 2014 semester beginning TUESDAY, APRIL 15th, 2014 starting at 9:00 am.

* Please note that applications are accepted on a first come, first served basis!


How: Three Ways to Apply:

1) ONLINE at http://www.chaffey.edu/eops

2) IN PERSON AT RANCHO (MACC-205) starting at 9:00 am (Make sure to arrive early!)

3) At the Fontana or Chino Campus at the Admissions and Records front desk

Prior to submitting an application, students are asked to complete the following:


1) An admissions application online at www.chaffey.edu (if not currently enrolled in Spring 2014 classes)


2) The FAFSA Application online at http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/ (in order to review eligibility for Board of Governor’s Fee Waiver Type A or B) Effective January 1st, 2013, AB540 students will be eligible for a Board of Governors Fee Waiver (BOGG). For more information, visit https://dream.csac.ca.gov/


3) Complete Chaffey College Assessment Test (if not already completed)


4) Make sure to submit official transcripts from all colleges attended, other than Chaffey to Admissions & Records (only if these documents have not been processed by Admissions and Records)


5) Official High School Transcripts (if GPA was below 2.5)


6) (Foster Youth students Only) Provide Financial Aid and EOPS with the documentation of proof that shows your status as a ward of the court as a former or current foster youth. For example, your court reports stating your status as a ward of the court, your TILP (Transitional Independent Living Plan) with your formal name, etc.


  • Applicants with pending documentation will have 5 business days from the time of notification to submit necessary documents.
  • Eligible applicants will be notified through their eligibility letter that they have 48 business hours to contact us or they will no longer be eligible for EOPS.
