In an effort to create more consistency in the curriculum, English instructors will be required to order from a standard core group of texts. A reader, a handbook, a style sheet, a dictionary or one book-length work of literature (preferably the college book) may accompany these texts if needed. Instructors read the table of contents of a text and view companion web sites by accessing publishers' websites. If you'd like an exam copy of any of these books, please contact the book rep directly. For your convenience, you may download a more recent MS Word version of this list.
