DEVELOPMENTAL DISABILITIES (DD)
Developmental Disabilities (DD) refers to "conditions due to congenital abnormality, trauma, deprivation, or diseases that interrupt or delay the sequence and rate of normal growth, development and maturation." The Developmental Disabilities Program provides an opportunity for adults with developmental disabilities to participate in classes that offer a curriculum specifically designed for them.
Classes for students with developmental disabilities are held off-campus at Diversified Industries, a habilitation facility that is partnered with the State Department of Rehabilitation/Habilitation Section. Guidelines for the facility are governed by the contracting or partner agency.

- Work Adjustment
- Self Advocacy
- Introduction to Computers
- Introduction to Retail Sales
- Reading, Writing and Adaptive Communication
- Self Advocacy - Interpersonal Skills
Chaffey College offers the following support services:

DIVERSIFIED INDUSTRIES
Clients must meet the eligibility guidelines of the Regional Centers prior to their placement at the habilitation facility. The student must then meet the requirements of the Chaffey College class by demonstrating measurable progress and the ability to benefit from instruction.
