ON CAMPUS TRANSPORTATION
Chaffey College DPS has two types of on campus (Rancho Cucamonga campus)
transportation to choose from. Qualified students in the program may choose
to check out one of our swift Jazzy 1100 wheelchairs to transport them in
comfort around the campus. Or students in the program may want one of our
licensed tram drivers to courteously provide transportation to and from classes.
In either case, our staff would take pleasure in serving your on campus transportation
needs. Call extension 6379 or 6380 if you need to use these services.

COURTESY TRAM SERVICE: DPS offers courtesy tram service to all qualified students in the program. We have courtesy trams to accomodate a variety of student needs. We have in our fleet of trams both wheelchair and non-wheelchair trams. The wheelchair trams are equipped with wheelchair ramps for convenient entry and exit. (Note: The trams have a load capacity limit of 950 pounds and the wheel chair ramp has a load capacity of 500 pounds, so most electric wheelchairs cannot be accomadated.) The Taylor/Dunn Model B: This custom built electric wheelchair tram features comfortable seating and a number of safety features for its occupants.
WHEELCHAIR LOAN : DPS also has available for qualified (requires training and completion of the wheelchair loan contract) students in the program wheelchair check out. We offer the comfortable and swift Jazzy 1100. We have several chairs in our fleet, so several students can be accomodated at once.
