The One Book, One College Program is a collaborative effort at Chaffey College wherein faculty, students, staff, and administration select and read an agreed upon work of fiction or nonfiction during each academic year.

Each semester, the One Book, One College Committee holds a series of free events related to the current One Book, One College, and many instructors incorporate the One Book, One College into their syllabi.

Each December, faculty and staff nominate and then vote on candidates for the next year's One Book, One College title.

The One Book, One College program encourages creativity, community, and interdisciplinary planning. It produces independent programs and events as well as programs and events in conjunction with Professional Development, Ethics Across the Curriculum, the Wignall Museum/Gallery, the Milliken Planetarium, local book stores, and many other interested partners.
