IMPORTANT: A student Photo ID card is required to conduct business with all college student service areas, and to access the college laboratories, success centers, and
library. Students are encouraged to obtain their ID card prior to the beginning of the term. Photo ID services are available at the Chino Campus Main Instructional Building.

Preparing
Students for Success in the Information Technology Field
The
City of Chino, in partnership with Chaffey Community College
District, currently provides residents of Southern California
with a cutting edge Information Technology training facility. The recently completed Chaffey College Chino Information Technology
Center is a $4.5 million project located in downtown Chino.
The 3 story, 21,000 square foot facility houses a comprehensive
Information Technology program composed of computer systems,
computer user applications, industry certification preparation
and telecommunications. These four programs are designed to
train and educate individuals entering the IT field along
with quality training for technicians currently employed.
Programs use state-of-the-art equipment and include curriculum
for technology on the market today and prepare for future
modifications.
Information Technology is the development, operation, and
management and use of hardware and software systems for the
communication and processing of data and information. Chaffey
College and the City of Chino have signed with major sponsors
including Cisco, Enterasys, Gateway, and Verizon, whose support
enhances the project. Technology plays a key role in today's
society with nearly half of the jobs in the United States
being in the IT field.
Chaffey
College understands the need to provide quality education
and training. The Chaffey College Chino Information Technology
Center was created to prepare students for entry into today's
high-tech, fast-growing industries to respond to business
needs and offers more than 30 certificates designed to educate
students for the computer-related careers that dominate the
job market.

Center Specifications:

Hours of Operation
• 7:30 am – 10:00 pm, Monday through Thursday
• 7:30 am – 4:30 pm, Friday
Each classroom
is equipped with state-of-the-art closed circuit TVs, projection
systems,
and surround sound. Additionally each room has computers,
printers and servers.
