Panther Field

The Chaffey College Panthers Softball Team is proud to play on Panther Field. Located on the south side of campus, this one-of-a-kind ballpark rivals community college softball fields across the nation as the best. "Panther Field" has the largest block dugouts of any school in California and boasts a remote controlled scoreboard with a two-line message center. This complex, built to last and maintenance free, is further evidence of the college's commitment to excellence.

Behind the backstop and third base are authentic seats from Dodger Stadium. These red seats were in the reserve section from 1973-2005 in beautiful Chavez Ravine.

The netting backstop gives spectators a clear view of the playing field. The first base side has a covered press box with staff and guest seating. Two batting cages and two enclosed bullpens make up the perimeter, and the storage building houses all team equipment. The storage building and block dugouts are roofed and lighted. Chaffey College provides a path to the restrooms that is lined with Texanum bushes in planters.
