Admissions and Records Office Important Fee Information ![]() IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE FEE INCREASE FOR THE 2009 FALL SEMESTER The California Community Colleges Chancellor's office has increased the fees for all community colleges to $26 per unit. Effective July 29, 2009, Chaffey College will implement the fee increase. If you have applied for financial aid and qualified for a Board of Governors Fee Waiver, the fee increase will be fully covered and no further action on your part is required. Payment Deadline for all fees is Wednesday, August 12, 2009. Go to the Chaffey College website and visit MyChaffeyVIEW to see your fee statement: http://www.chaffey.edu/chaffeyview Below are answers to some questions you might have: I’ve already paid my fees for Fall 2009. What happens since the Legislature increased fees for fall? If you paid before July 29, you will receive a supplemental bill for the increased fees. It is your responsibility to pay the fees by September 14, 2009, to avoid having a restriction placed on your record. I haven’t paid my fees for Fall 2009, what should I do? You should pay your fees of $26 per unit. It is your responsibility to pay the fees by the payment deadline date, August 12, 2009, to avoid being dropped from your classes for non-payment. I am eligible for a BOGW fee waiver. Will the waiver cover the fee increase? Yes. How do I find out if I qualify for a BOGW fee waiver? Just go to the Chaffey College Financial Aid Office website to learn more about eligibility. |
