26 Job Placements at the LDC…

Students at the Learning Development Center (LDC) are hard at work on their job searches!!  DPS has a WorkAbility III program, which is a partnership between Chaffey College and the State Department of Rehabilitation (DOR) based on an agreement stating that the LDC shall assist in the provision of vocational rehabilitation services including job placement to individuals with disabilities.  We are right on track towards meeting our placement goal for 07-08; so far this year 26 students have obtained employment.  A few of our most recent employers include TJ Maxx, ODW Logistics, the Department of Corrections & Rehabilitation, City Security, and KinderCare.  If you are interested in obtaining more information about vocational rehabilitation services for students with disabilities call (909) 652-7675.
