ACCESS IN INSTRUCTION
Access in Instruction is critical to any student with a disability. The success or failure of many students with disabilities is predicated on whether or not their instructors make information and/or technology accessible in such a way that the student can focus more attention on the the subject matter being learned rather than the obstacles that limit acces to that subject matter. Of course there is concern from instructors as to how they can provide accommodations fairly, and there is also concern about additional workload. As for the former, the links below provide helpful tips for instruction - click as appropriate. As for the latter . . . YES, there will be additional work, but DPS wants to help.
